The 30th annual African-American Heritage Festival (AAHF) will be held from noon to 6 p.m., Saturday, Sept. 15 and 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., Sunday, Sept. 16 and will include live music, cultural dancing, entertainment, a variety of foods, and crafts from local and regional artisans.
This family-friendly event features face painting, crafts, and fun activities for the kids as well as community resources and health screenings! All events are free and fully handicapped accessible.
The AAHF is one of the largest events of its kind in the Shenandoah Valley and is hosted by a non-profit, volunteer group. It is sponsored by the City of Staunton, Staunton Parks & Recreation, and Staunton's Tourism Department.
