DESCRIPTION:<p><strong>&nbsp;</strong></p><p><strong>Due to forecasted severe weather from Hurricane Florence, this event has been cancelled. </strong>&nbsp;</p><p><hr></p><p>The 30th annual African-American Heritage Festival (AAHF) will be held from noon to 6 p.m., Saturday, Sept. 15 and 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., Sunday, Sept. 16 and will include live music, cultural dancing, entertainment, a variety of foods, and crafts from local and regional artisans.</p><p>This family-friendly event features face painting, crafts, and fun activities for the kids as well as community resources and health screenings! All events are free and fully handicapped accessible.</p><p>The  AAHF is one of the largest events of its kind in the Shenandoah Valley and is hosted by a non-profit, volunteer group.
