Mayor Oakes hereby calls a special meeting of Staunton City Council. The meeting will be held on Thursday, June 17, 2021, at 5:30 p.m., local time, in the Dr. Chiles Activity Room in the Irene Givens Administration Building in Montgomery Hall Park. The purpose of the meeting is a joint meeting of the Staunton City School Board, Staunton Economic Development Authority, and Staunton City Council, to discuss use of property at Staunton Crossing.

Mayor Oakes requests that the Clerk of Council provide notice of this memorandum in accordance with Chapter II, Section 7, of the Staunton City Charter, post and otherwise widely publicize notice of this memorandum. Mayor Oakes also requests that the Clerk of Council email a copy  of this memorandum to all members of City Council.
