The Parks & Recreation Spring Plant Swap will be held Saturday May 11 at Montgomery Hall Park. The plant swap will be located on the lawn area behind the Irene Givens Administration Building. Look for the parking lot behind the building for drop off area. Drop off & voucher assignment begins at 9 a.m. and lasts until 10:45 a.m..  Swapping begins promptly at 11 a.m.. The plant swap will be held rain or shine.

Never heard of a plant swap before?  Here is how it works.

1. Dig up and divide plants from your home or garden and bring them to the swap.
2. Parks & Rec staff will then check you in and assign vouchers for the value of your plants.
3. Browse through the selection of plants at the swap.
4. At 11 a.m. sharp use your vouchers to purchase new plants.
5. Take home your new plants & enjoy.

What to swap?  Annuals, Seeds, Perennials, small shrubs or trees, houseplants, garden books etc.  There is no charge for this event. This is a fun way to get something new for your garden.
