Mayor Edwards calls a Special Called Meeting of Staunton City Council to discuss the update to the Comprehensive Plan as presented by the Comprehensive Plan Steering Committee at 6 p.m. on Wednesday, June 3, 2026 in the large meeting room at the Staunton Public Library, 1 Churchville Avenue, Staunton, Virginia, 24401.

She requested that the Clerk of Council disseminate, post, and provide notice of this memorandum in accordance with Chapter II, Section 7, of the Staunton City Charter and the Virginia Freedom of Information Act, and otherwise widely publicize notice of this memorandum. She also requested that the Clerk of Council email a copy of this memorandum to all members of City Council.

This is also  a Special Called Meeting of the Comprehensive Plan Committee, which includes Planning Commission and Citizen Advisory Appointees, to discuss the update to the Comprehensive Plan with City Council.
