Staunton will celebrate Bike & Walk to Work Day on Friday, May 19 by hosting a Commuter Breakfast and Celebration. The event will be held from 7:30 to 9:30 a.m. on the Johnson Street side of the Wharf Parking Lot.

Bike & Walk to Work Day highlights the ways walking and biking to work can add physical activity to the day, save money and wear and tear on cars, and make participants feel more connected to their communities.

Walking and biking commuters are encouraged to stop by for coffee and a light breakfast and enjoy music, gear giveaways, and free bike maintenance. Participating commuters can log their commutes online or at the Commuter Breakfast.
