Open House from 11am-5pm: View a display on the history of Montgomery Hall Park, a former plantation, and its significance to the local African American community. Montgomery Hall was later established as a community park for African American citizens during the segregation era.

Historical Presentation from 3pm-4:15pm: After the Underground Railroad, Harriet Tubman was commissioned by Governor Andrew of Massachusetts to aid the Union Army during the Civil War. Moonyene Jackson recounts the triumphs of Harriet Tubman, especially her lesserknown part of the Union Army as the first and only woman then and now to lead military men into a bold raid into enemy territory
