Staunton’s City Council is holding a public hearing at their regular meeting at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 27 to share information and solicit public input on the City’s 2023 legislative program which is transmitted to the Governor, local General Assembly members, the Virginia Municipal League and Virginia First Cities.  Members of the public will be permitted to comment on the proposed program as well as offer suggestions for additional initiatives to be included in the program.

The draft legislative program is available to view in the Oct. 27 agenda packet, found online at www.ci.staunton.va.us/agendas_minutes.

The public hearing will be held in the Rita S. Wilson Council Chambers, located on the first floor of City Hall at 116 West Beverley Street, Staunton, Virginia. Members of the community may attend and participate in person, or virtually using the Zoom application or a phone number for dialing into the meeting.
