NOTICE

We hereby call a special meeting of the Staunton City Council. The meeting will be held on Tuesday, June 7, 2022, at 6:00 p.m., local time, in the Caucus Room, City Hall, 116 West Beverley Street. The purpose of the meeting is for Council:

• to conduct a closed session pursuant to Virginia Code Section 2.2-3711(A)(8) for consultation with legal counsel concerning contractual, litigation, and negotiation matters related to Staunton Circuit Court case CL21-500 and Virginia Code Section 2.2-3711 (A)(7) to consult with legal counsel pertaining to actual litigation in the matter of Staunton Circuit Court case CL21-500.

We request that the Clerk of Council disseminate, post and provide notice of this memorandum in accordance with Chapter II, Section 7, of the Staunton City Charter and the Virginia Freedom of Information Act, and otherwise widely publicize notice of this memorandum. We also request that the Clerk of Council email a copy of this memorandum to all members of City Council.
