Although not convening as a Council, certain members of Staunton City Council will be participating in the following dedication programs with the Staunton-Augusta County African American Research Society and the unveiling of six African American Historical Markers.
The following are the dates, times and locations of the dedication programs:
- April 9, 2022 at 1:00 p.m., 815 N. Augusta Street;
- Unveiling and dedication of the African American Business Jones Funeral Home marker
- Unveiling and dedication of the African American Freemasonry Mount Zion Lodge #18 marker
