Although not convening as a Council, certain members of Staunton City Council will be attending a ribbon cutting ceremony at Montgomery Hall Park on Friday, October 29, 2021 at 1 p.m. at 1000 Montgomery Avenue, Staunton, Virginia.  The ceremony will honor six African Americans for their significant contributions to the City of Staunton, including the establishment and operation of Montgomery Hall Park, through the naming of facilities at the park as approved by Staunton City Council in 2019.
