NOTICE

Mayor Oakes hereby calls a special meeting of Staunton City Council. The meeting will be held on Thursday, February 4, 2021, at 5:30 p.m., local time, in the Rita S. Wilson Council Chambers located on the 1^st floor at City Hall, 116 West Beverley Street. The purpose of the meeting is to conduct a work session to discuss the FY2021-2025 Proposed Capital Improvement Program. 

She requests that the Clerk of Council provide notice of this memorandum in accordance with Chapter II, Section 7, of the Staunton City Charter, post and otherwise widely publicize notice of this memorandum. She also request that the Clerk of Council email a copy of this memorandum to all members of City Council. 

HYBRID IN-PERSON ELECTRONIC COMMUNICATIONS MEETING

This meeting, although to be conducted in-person, will also be conducted by Zoom, with virtual participation of certain members of City Council, given the catastrophic nature of the declared emergency and disaster related to the COVID-19 outbreak, which as part of the total circumstances makes it impracticable or unsafe to assemble in a single location. The meeting will be held consistent with City Council Ordinances 2020-04, 2020-24, and 2021-04 which can be accessed online at: http://www.staunton.va.us/cogord2020-04.

PUBLIC PARTICIPATION
